Is the only way of restricting file attachments by extension type the option under "New Registered User" in Tools -> Antispam? Does that mean that after a user is no longer classified as a new user they can attach a file of any type? Thanks.

Hi @jamie,
In the Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Addons > Attachments admin page, find and confogure the "Accepted File Types" option.

Thanks, but I don't have an Attachments page in Addons (only Private Messages and Polls). Is it necessary to buy the Advanced Attachments addon in order to have this level of control?
