For some reason, all the comments on my blog are shown as posted by guests. Is there anyway I can enable my website viewers to view a particular person's history of comments on my site? Ideally, I want people to be able to click on a profile and view the profile's history of activities.

In this case you should use profile plugins, wpDiscuz doesn't have such a feature. wpDiscuz supports all profile plugins (BuddyPress, Ultimate Members...) or forum plugin like wpForo which allows to have full control to profile components.

I could only use BuddyPress because Ultimate Members is not supported by Wordpress.com
Challenge with BuddyPress is it started sending out random notification emails to all my blog followers about registration and login. It was a bug and I had to turn it off and apologize to the site email followers.
