Hi mikecowles,

Please deactivate wpForo and activate it again. Please don't use the Uninstall button, this will remove all data, only use the Deactivate / Activate buttons. And check the table again, if you still don't see the field just let us know. We'll provide a SQL command to create it.

I did everything you mentioned, but the online_time isn't there. how do I add/update it?

Please make sure the HTML Cache is disabled in Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Features admin page. Then navigate to Dashboard > Forums > Dashboard admin page and click on and button.

Also please make sure the last wpForo update has added new "online_time" field in _wpforo_profiles table. Use Hosting Service > cPanel > phpMyAdmin tool, open your website database and find the _wpforo_profiles table and check if the "online_time" field exists.

Please make sure the PM receiver is not online. Online receivers don't get email notification. Only offline users get email notification.

I double checked and everything was turned on like you showed and I turned off all the other plugins and tested it again and still no email. Any other ideas to get this working?

Hi mikecowles,

This is a site specific issue for sure, because this addon works fine and sends emails on hundreds of websites. There is no any bug in email sender functions.

Please check these points:

1. Make sure the Email Notification is enabled in PM settings. The settings page is located in Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Addons > Private Messages Tab.

2. Make sure the Email Notification button is turned on for the conversation you're currently testing.

3. Make sure you receive emails from WordPress and wpForo. This maybe a global email sending issue.

4. Test it using other users and emails.

5. Please disable all plugins, especially the SMTP plugin and test it again.

I've checked with my host and there's no error logs. I have smtp plugin installed with correct settings and have the latest version of WP Foro installed.

I'm getting the internal alert when there's a new message, but no email is being sent. I already checks spam and trash.

Any ideas or help would be appreciated.
