I have to add something. We did some tests over the weekend and found another irregularity.

When I send a message from a member with a normal user role (subscriber) to the admin, the admin sees the message. But it is not recorded in the test member's mailbox. From the admin to the member it looks the same as always, i.e. the messages are recorded.

However, there is no notification by e-mail in any of the cases.

I use the addon private messages on www.alkohol-ade.com together with WPForo and now I notice that no notification mail is sent anymore when I send a direct message to another user. However, the direct message arrives, only the email is lost.

The function is activated in the addon, caches cleared twice. Has anyone had this problem before and maybe even solved it?
