It appears that once Twitter switched over to the X domain, embedding those tweets no longer work. A link is posted only. But if you change the URL from x.com to twitter.com, it works just fine and embeds correctly.

I would try to show you here, but it appears that the Embed MOD is not active here. So I just thought I would give you a heads up that it will need to be fixed.

 

This is the example I used on wpForo.com when the embed was active on that site.

Here is an example tweet using the native X.com (only the link shows)
