Please follow the steps below:

Install and activate the Code Snippets plugin.
Navigate to Dashboard > Snippets > Import admin page
Download the zip folder attached below
Unzip the file
Upload the file using the "Choose files" button click on the "Upload files and import" button.
Navigate to Dashboard > Snippets > All Snippets admin page, make sure the snippet is enabled

As a temporary fix I edited class-wp-oembed.php and switched all instances of "amazon" in the public function __construct() lines to false.

Amazon urls default to embedding useless Kindle preview links that do not work on any device other than a Kindle. Is there a file I can edit or some code to prevent Amazon links from embedding?
