Yes, this is a good idea, we'll add it in our to do list. However we'll use post excerpts instead of abstract cutting the post content.

Also, in a later version will there be an option to only have an excerpt automatically appear on the forum rather than the entire blog article?  IMO this would make this a perfect plugin.
