1) Link to article is outside the forum frame:

1
2

Need it to fit inside.

2) Where can I edit the Excerpt and Custom length of the cross-post content?

3) How can I remove these 'topic was modified' from showing on cross-post posts?

Hi @infosmallcaps-com-au,

1) Link to article is outside the forum frame:

This is designed to look in this way. Please see the screenshot. It's not outside of the box.

margin

However, if you'd prefer to move it just a little to right, below is the CSS code allows you to do it, just change the red marked color code before using.

#wpforo-wrap .wpfcp-topic-info {
margin-right: 11px !important;
}

2) Where can I edit the Excerpt and Custom length of the cross-post content?

I'll need a bit more information to help you.

3) How can I remove these 'topic was modified' from showing on cross-post posts?

1) Thanks

2) The amount of words/characters from the article to displaying...example: if I only want 200 words to show, then the 'read more' link.
or say 30% of the article to show then a link to the actual article.

3) Thanks

ok @infosmallcaps-com-au,

2) The amount of words/characters from the article to displaying...example: if I only want 200 words to show, then the 'read more' link.
or say 30% of the article to show then a link to the actual article.

yes, the add-on has the option for this as well. The option is located in Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Addon > Cross Posting subtab.

The "Cross-posting Content" option has three values:

  • Full Content - cross posts all content
  • Excerpt
  • Custom

You can select the Custom value in your case, once you've selected the Custom value, click on the "Update" button in post/page editor section. Then scroll a little down, you'll find the "Cross-posting Custom Content" textarea, just copy and paste the part of the content you'll need to cross-post.
