I apologize for the late response. We discussed this with our team and decided that it couldn't be done for security reason as the only authors, admins (high-level users) have permission to crate posts.

Let's say a user posts a great forum topic and I want to feature it in my blog -- it would be great if I could do that from the topic itself, then edit the post with a featured image, etc.
