That is not plugin but most host provide it as a feature to protect files so they are not accessed by anyone with direct link.

Anyway i have found out that my Hotlink Protection code is wrong that is why attachments not work but if i change it how it must be originally then other of my important plugin will not work.

I will try find a solution to this, thank you for great add-ons and plugins!

Hi Filip,

I'm sorry but we don't test addons with other plugins. There are about 10 most popular plugins (cache, seo, profile...) which are being tested with addons, not more. We test it with WordPress different versions and wpForo.

We're not familiar with "Hotlink Protection" plugin. We'll add this in our to-do list and test it once we got some free time-frame.

Hi again.

I did further testing and moved the Hotlink Protection code to root htaccess and you know i can access robots.txt but attachemnt in wpForo no mater txt or rar it does not download the attachment so it seems a conflict with this add-on and Hotlink Protection code.

Can you look please what is wrong? Did you people test the add-on with Hotlink Protection code?

It seems it was old error log.
Well i will mark this topic as solved because hotlink issue is not related with the Add-on.

On a side note if you can edit my previous reply to exclude those links would be good there was not much time to edit them when i post.

Hi Filip,

it seems you use the old version. Or these error was generated before wpForo Advanced Attachment 1.0.1 version. Please deactivate and delete this addon through Dashboard > Plugins admin page. Then go to gVectors Shop Account page, download and install it again. And remove this error log file.

My htaccess is not in /uploads/ but in /wp-content/ dir sorry was not able to edit my reply.
Any idea why txt files get hotlinked even without adding it?

Between i found recently some error log in /wp-admin/ dir, can this be related?

Yes i tried before but not helped i even try remove all those but keep jpg it still not work only if i disable hotlink code it work.

Also google could not access robot.txt and i have to move this htaccess code into /uploads/ dir so google and other search engines could read that text.

Have you tried to add txt extension in the list? For example:

I found the problem but need a solution to this not know why it happen.

As soon i enable hotlinking in htaccess it will download that html in text file if i disable codes it works but this is important for my site, here is my code maybe something can be changed.
