Yes this is good idea as we need to use a software on PC to resize before upload and this takes additional time.

Yes, i noticed that and have set it to the minimum value of 1Mb.

But that is not what i meant. Just need to limit the dimensions of the image and i could not fix that with a seperate plugin (Resize Image After Upload). It does not affect the forum images.
Hope in the future this can be added. Would be great addition.

Please navigate in Dashboard to Forums > Settings > Addons admin page and set Max Uploaded file size to restrict big file uploading.

I just bought this extension. And it is great, but must agree to the topic starter.
We urgently want to limit the sizes of the images too, because it fills the harddisk because our forum users upload many images.

So also i would very much appreciate if maximum dimensions could be set. Just as i can set them for the thumbnail.

Ok, thank you for the suggestion, we don't want do make any change in original file, however we'll take this under consideration.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I see thumbnails and full picture.

But would be great if files larger than 2M would be automatically resized to maximum height/width during upload instead of rejecting these files.

It creates thumbnail and leave the original. On forum posts you see thumbnails, when you click it loads the original. Thumbnail sizes can be managed in Forums > Settings > Addons > Advanced Attachment Tab
