As it's mentioned in the plugin Description tab and displayed in the Screenshot tabs, the two steps are:

1. Once the plugin is active, navigate to WordPress Dashboard > Forums > Ad Manager admin page to create Ad Banners:

2. And navigate to WordPress Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Addons Tab > Advertisements subTab to set Banner displaying frequency. The options allow to display ad banners per X Categories, Forums, Topics or Posts:

The Locations

On these schemes you can see ad banner locations on category, forum, topic and posts pages. The frequency of banner repeating in forum, topic and post lists is set 2 on these schemes. You can change it to any value in addon settings:

I have the plug in activated and working.  Now… WHAT???????????

I want ads to display.  How?  Instructions would be nice?

I use AdSense and I would like the ads to show up in between my forum categories and in the directory.  HOW?????????  

There’s no instruction that says how to create a new ad then what to put inside that.  Sure, I have one already but, no clue what to put inside there.  

Did some genius think we know everything there is to know about this as soon as we download it?  SeriouslY?????????
