Hi, I just purchased the plugin assuming that anyone could set his own post to "private", but apparently only WP Users can do this...? Is there a way to change it so also guests can set their discussions + answers to private, please?

To specify what I am looking for:
Guestes can comment in my WPDiscuz form and others can answer. Now, I need the answers to be private so only the answering person and the original comment author can see the answer...

Thanks a lot in advance!!

Hi @johannes-musikant

This is designed to work in this way. I'm really sorry, but the private comment button is available only for registered users.

It's too hard to handle this for guests. For example, if the guest makes a private comment on one device, it's not possible to detect and show the private comment to the current guest if s/he uses another device.

I understand. I would love to keep using WPDiscuz though!

How about this?
-User A creates post "Looking for dancer"
-User B replies to post and adds his email in the text
-Reply gets sent to User A but stays "private" (invisible) on the page.

So basically all I need to do is hide any reply to posts. Do you have a hint how I might achieve this? There's unfortunately no plugin to make "hidden" replies.

Thanks in advance!

We're really sorry but the wpDiscuz Private Comments add-on doesn't have such functionality.

However, we have a plugin customization and custom addon development services at gVectors Team.
They can asses the work and create it for you. Just contact us via sales[at]gvectors.com
email address and send a list of requirements you'd like to have.

Hm, thanks. I'm afraid my budget won't allow that. Unfortunately the Extension is useless for me, then. Is there a refund policy in place?

Thanks
