Messages also being sent to Admin

I found a couple of other posts here but no resolutions publicly provided so I'm going to ask myself.

Admin also receives a copy of the message.

How do I prevent also being sent a copy of the message.

For one, I don't need my inbox being clogged up with these, and two, while nothing is truly private, I really would prefer not to have my users' messages being seen/sent to my admin email address.

Bell is not showing

I enabled the license, uploaded the plugin but somehow the bell is not showing via the shortcode. I tried adding this shortcode in the template, on a page, and on a widget, but it only shows the text of the shortcode.

The settings are set to REST API/AJAX both, but no difference. Furthermore I do not see any settings to enable it or disable the plugin. What could cause this to happen? Also adding it via the menu (custom link) it says that the variable is not valid.

As a new user, an ignorant end user, how does someone discern a plugin's compatibility or incompatibility with another plugin by the same programmers?

I am about to purchase my first add-on, but do wonder if I should just go for the whole thing....have any of you found sticking with wpForo and getting addons is the best thing to do? Do you have to buy them every year?

wpForo Advanced Attachments Image upload issue

I am using the wpForo Advanced Attachments add-on. When I create a new topic and upload an attachment, the attachment is displayed as -- attachment is not available -- instead of showing the actual attached file. Could you please check why the attachment shortcode is being displayed rather than being rendered properly?

I have a question regarding attachment permissions in wpForo.

As an Administrator, I can see the "Delete" button for uploaded attachments in the post editor/media manager and I can remove files before or after posting.

However, regular forum users can upload files and insert them into posts, but they do not see any option to delete their own uploaded attachments.

Is there a setting, user group permission, or forum access permission that allows users to delete their own attachments/files?

If so, could you please tell me where this option can be enabled?

I am using WordPress with wpForo and would like users to be able to manage and remove their own uploaded files without requiring administrator intervention.

Downloaded file won't upload to WordPress

I've downloaded the Media Uploader add-on, which shows up as a zip file in the link, but when I downloaded it, it wasn't a zip file anymore and WordPress won't upload it unless it's a zip file. I haven't unzipped it or loaded into a wp-content/plugins folder because I don't have one. As of now, I can't use it, because WordPress won't upload it and the instructions aren't helping so I have no idea what to do. I'm a basic user, so no coding experience, etc.
