Please make sure you've installed the myCRED plugin. myCRED plugin is a free WordPress plugin, wpDiscuz myCRED Integration addon is a paid addon of wpDiscuz plugin to integrate these plugins.

Once you installed myCRED plugin please enable badges in myCRED settings and create badges. After this all future earned badges will be displayed under comment avatar.
