@astgh Yes! That did it! Was able to upload a 13.6 MB full Shutterstock image with no issues (and most phone images aren't that nearly that big by default). Thank You!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One thing that it's doing...that it didn't used to do...is sometimes uploading multiple copies of images...all in different sizes within the media files...and attaching "scaled" to the file name. And none are showing on the front end. I can get them to upload and show when I cut them to about 1000 px and less than 100kb. But it won't upload even in the 500kb range.

I'm gonna kill all plugins tomorrow during nonpeak hours and see if that does anything. My staging setup up is too slow to mess with it. So I'll play with the live site.

And again, everything was running peachy up until 3-4 weeks ago. Phone images just didn't grow larger in the last month.

This is affecting all browsers that I've tried...normally it's the mobile that screws up but in this case, it's desktop too. iPhone 10 Safari and Chrome. Note 7 Chrome and Samsung Browser. Desktop Chrome, Edge, and Mozilla.

As far as I see, this is an image specific issue. Again. This is something that cannot be debugged. Image format, image size, image resolution, phone model and lots of other things may have some affections.

Also, it doesn't matter what is your server RAM size or how powerful is it. There are limits for image processing libraries in PHP and the limits are not GBs, they are small. Before the server, your browser should create a thumbnail from that big image. In most cases, this is a browser issue. Browsers cannot create Base64 based image content and display on preview section.

We can check one example if you provide the image, and full information of the browser and device you use to attach it. Thus, we could simulate the same case and provide more info.

That's another reason why I'm irritated - we're going into the peak of our traffic season right now. And and the main function is broken (for us).

I love the hell out of this plugin - when I'm not fighting it. We get a ton of comments and engagement that we wouldn't get without it.

If I could make it rock solid, get rid of some of the bloat from the functions I don't use (I did lighten the CSS but I don't trust my own work so I'm using stock), make it work well with most caches and minifications, and not wince when I update various plugins, I'd want to marry it.

IDK, maybe it's time to talk to your other dev team and see what they can do to make it a bit more bespoke, lighter, and a bit more solid for my particular setup (afore mentioned server, litespeed plugin with minimal caching/minification (nothing crazy like their "guest mode", cloudflare).

WP-Cron is turned off too. It's server side every 10 minutes. So, no, my server isn't getting beat to death by traffic.
