yes, I think there won't be any problem.

In any case, wpDiscuz doesn’t affect any data. You can install and uninstall whenever you want without any worries. Nothing will be lost!

Will it be OK to delete all of these wpDiscuz transients from the wp_options table?

i.e. no loss of comments or functionality?

It's just the name of the option. Actually, it disables the components.

I have noticed that WPDiscuz is inserting over 16,000 non-expiring transients into the wp_options table, and this is slowing the website down significantly.

On another forum you have recommended to disable "Discussion Statistics" and "Recent Comment Authors" components in Dashboard > Comments > Settings > Comment Form Tab.

However there is only an option to "HIDE" these components but not to "DISABLE" them (see attached screenshot).

Please help.2968
