I followed your instructions to allow people to comment with FB and for some reason after they click the Accept button, it keeps spinning:

Thanks for your help!

Hi @yifat,

This issue doesn't have any relation to wpDiscuz.

Your website is still on HTTP protocol, please get some SSL certificate and make your site secure with https protocol.

https://www.websecurity.symantec.com/security-topics/what-is-ssl-tls-https

Facebook doesn't allow use its API on the non-https website.

FB login

Hi

hope you've read the article I've provided in the previous post.

https://developers.facebook.com/blog/post/2018/06/08/enforce-https-facebook-login/

Facebook login require HTTPS, but your website still uses HTTP.

Astghik,

I did read that article and we did make the site secure -  https://tv.drmaggieyu.com/the-importance-of-the-missing-community-in-healthcare/

For some reason, the server kicks people to the insecure part. So we're looking into that.

Thank you for your help.

My site is secure and the Login with FB is just spinning -  https://imthatgeek.com/how-to-turn-your-brand-into-a-movement/

As you can see, the app is live on FB Dev -  https://www.screencast.com/t/Bg2VSuON2Z9u

Thanks for your help.

@yifat.

I see the following response from Facebook API (see screenshot below):

<div><span>URL blocked: This redirect failed because the redirect URI is not white-listed in the app's client OAuth settings. Make sure that the client and web OAuth logins are on and add all your app domains as valid OAuth redirect URIs.</span><script>if (typeof console !=="undefined" && console.log) console.log("URL blocked: This redirect failed because the redirect URI is not white-listed in the app's client OAuth settings. Make sure that the client and web OAuth logins are on and add all your app domains as valid OAuth redirect URIs.");</script></div>

This article should help you to solve the issue:

I copied the link from the instruction page -  https://www.screencast.com/t/l2e95k7NmwE

Entered it here -  https://www.screencast.com/t/yHoQjnPRt

and it's still spinning.

Hi @yifat,

We've just checked and everything works fine. Please press CTRL+F5 (twice) on the frontend before checking.

Hi @yifat,

Thank you for the video. It helps me to understand what the problem is.

First of all, please never use incognito mode with Facebook login or other login buttons. FB login button doesn't work on incognito mode, it cannot add cookies and start the session.

When you try to login via FB on firefox browser, it'll open a new dialog section with a message "Firefox prevented this site from opening a pop-up window". You'll need to click on the Options button and choose Allow pop-ups for this site option. See screenshot:

Firefox

The same is with the Chrome browser. More info here:

Hi @yifat,

I think there was missing www in the Valid OAuth redirect URIs field.

Nope.

The URL in WpDiscuz setting doesn't have www.

I added and tested it anyway and it didn't make a difference. Still, can't log in.

Also. when I add the www to the domain, it drops it and goes to https:// without it.

Do you want to log in and take a look yourself?

Dear @yifat,

Please navigate to Dashboard > Comments > Settings > Social Login & Share admin page make sure the "Use Facebook OAuth2" option is enabled. Delete all caches and check again (not on Incognito mod).

Use Facebook OAuth2

Thank you. That worked.

New issue though - after the login it sends me to the welcome page for my community rather than return me to the original page.

I'm using S2Member Pro, if that helps.

Gotcha.

So diactivate social login until then.

When is the next release due?
