I found a bug in wpDiscuz 7.6.48 that causes uploaded images to display twice in comments when Lightbox is disabled.

The issue is on line 246 of utils/class.WpdiscuzHelperUpload.php:

$images .= $images .= $imageHtml;

The double concatenation operator causes the image HTML to be appended twice. It should be:

$images .= $imageHtml;

The lightbox-enabled path on line 242 is correct — it's just this else branch that has the typo.

I am using Advanced attachment plugin and i have a problem as below. (this forum category and forums are for audiences and customers who do not need to login to see the contents)

- When users log into the forum the attached pictures are shown in the content (attachment 1)

- when users do not log in the attached pictures are shows as attachment (attachment 2)

I need to solve this problem for audiences to be able to see pictures in the contents who do not log in.

Can you advise me how to solve this problem?

I am using wpForo + User Custom Fields plugin and I’m experiencing an inconsistent behavior with profile fields.

Some custom fields display correctly for certain users, but not for others who belong to the same user group.

Example:

User Marie-France → custom fields appear correctly in the profile tab.
User Yorgos → no custom fields appear in the profile tab.

Configuration checks:

• The fields are enabled
• "Who can view" includes all groups (Moderator, Members, Équipage Pleines Voiles, etc.)
• The user belongs to the correct wpForo group (Équipage Pleines Voiles)
• The field is editable and visible
• The same field configuration works for another user

However, the fields still do not display for this user’s profile.

Interestingly, the value does appear under the avatar in forum posts, which suggests the field value exists but the profile template does not display it.

Could this be related to:

• user meta not initialized for older accounts?
• a cache issue?
• a known issue with the User Custom Fields plugin?

I have created a custom checkbox field that is only visible and editable by moderators and admins. The end user does not have permission to edit the field

I already have the checkbox field ID and the corresponding user group IDs.

I need the specific code snippet or hook to ensure that when a moderator selects a checkbox (on the user's profile) and saves the user profile, the user is automatically added to the secondary user group in the database. The end user cannot edit this.

1. Custom checkbox field created in User Fields.
2. Permissions set to moderator and admin only.
3. Field ID and user group IDs are identified.
4. Goal is to sync the custom checkbox to save when the moderator updates, when the profile is saved.
