Hi there,

I just purchased the Google reCaptcha addon, uploaded it to my Wordpress installation, activated it, registered my website with Google reCaptcha, entered the site key and secret key Google gave me to the Addon fields of the wpDiscuz plugin settings ... but in the end the plugin is not working. See the attached image for the console errors.

What is going on, how can I make this work?

Best,
Marc

Hi @marc-multin,

We've just checked it on our test website and don't find such an issue. Please try to register your domain with Google one more time to generate the new Site Key and Secret Key. Then make sure the keys are inserted correctly and check again.

If the issue still exists please send the admin login details to pm message to allow us to check it?

@marc-multin,

We've just tested it on your website and don't find such an issue. The wpDiscuz – Google reCAPTCHA works as expected.

Could you please generate the keys one more time, and make sure that the key type for reCaptcha v2 (not v3).

Ah, now it works. Didn't before, so not sure what was the issue (did it need time to sync with Google?). But all is good now. 🙂
