I've asked our developers about it and currently, I'm waiting for the response from them. I'll update the topic once I get some response from them.

First off, thank you for such excellent plugins, I love wpForo.  The code is clean, efficient, and works.  I just have an enhancement request to add support for wordpress default first and last name fields.

1) I read the replies for "custom fields plugin" around the issue, makes sense that the custom fields would not support these

2) I am attempting to replace Ultimate Member in it's entirety, cannot do this without first and last name edits.

3) I have a Drip.com and wpFusion connection (by the way, as of this week, wpFusion now supports custom fields add-on and synching with CRM's)   The way CRM's work is NOT by display name, but rather by email, first, and last name

4) It seems a major oversight to not have the DEFAULT (wordpress) first and last name fields supported by the core plugin as some of the fields that a) can & should be displayed on the profile b) can & should be allowed for edit on the account screen

I would please implement standard functionality for first and last name in the core plugin, so that we can properly edit first and last names within the wp_users default table.
