Dear support,

I would love to give all the authors of the website the possibility to receive a notification (on Wordpress or via mail) when a new user comments on an article which is written by that author.

I.e.: I write an article -> somebody leave a comment -> I receive a mail with the notification.

I've already purchased the bundle, so is that possible? Thanks!

Suggestion: Add "Register / login" links along with "Connect with" buttons

Hi,

I was surprised that wpdiscuz comment area only allows to "connect with" social media and not from wordpress itself!!

It would be logical to allow user to login or register from local install and not just social media.
In particular for those of use that use wpforo as login system, there is no reason to only allow connection from social media and not local system from the comment area.

Please Intergrate with a Photo Optimizer Service

Please somehow integrate with a photo optimizer service like Smush It or one of the others.

It would be fraken awesome to have the ability to allow a user to upload any size of photo and have a photo optimization service automatically resize both the thumbnail and original and compress it in real time.

It wold create a much more Facebook-like experience.

I'm pretty sure most of these companies have APIs and I wouldn't think it would take much code to implement this.

Discuz on every Comment Side?

Hello and Thanks for the Plugin.

I have the following problem:
The plugin is displayed in the normal contributions.
But it is not displayed in another sport plugin, here the normal comment area is displayed.
Can I replace this?
In the photos you can see what I mean.

Thanks again for amazing comment plugin, guys! Really liked it and I use it on my various wp-based projects. I found out a common problem, reported by many users. When they submit a comment via wpDiscuz, many of them don’t see the ajax-loader icon (animation) in the right top corner. So they don’t know if the comment form working, submitting or not. Some of them give up, some of them try to send it many times, before realize it’s been posted already.

Is there any way to improve this? Like making the form in disabled state, or making animation icon more visible?

Or any suggestion for customize this? Thanks!

wpDiscuz does not work with KeyCAPTCHA Wordpress Plugin

Error while sending comments: «SyntaxError: JSON.parse: unexpected character at line 1 column 1 of the JSON data», in browser console - AJAX reply text from KeyCAPTCHA: «ОШИБКА: Решение предложенное Вами неверно. Пожалуйста, прочитайте задание и попробуйте еще раз.»

This indicates that the KeyCAPTCHA plugin is used, but not displayed on the screen. Therefore, the visitor cannot pass his check, and the plugin reports an error of passing its check.

Registering users and integration with forum

Hi, I have a forum built in WPforo on my news site:

If I integrate wpDiscuz on the site for our articles will logged in users from the forum be able to comment straight away?

Are users that register to comment on wpDiscuz added as a 'user' to the wordpress data base?
ie. so they can then use the forum and I capture their username and email? I want to make sure they are not entered in the user database twice...once for the forum and once for wpDiscuz.
Will it use their same gravatar image from the forum in wpDiscuz?

I also saw on another site that their articles are automatically added to the forum, how can this be automated to occur?

Willing to buy the full version of the plugin if needed, not a problem.

Hi, I've installed WPDiscuz including many of the modules (I bought the pack). Other than a few things that I know is on my end (Sucuri's cache, etc) it's running like a champ. Very, very surprised actually. Usually I have to fight things to get them to work.

Anyhow, I'm hoping to have my setup as close to Facebook as possible but also loading as fast as possible...with real time comments. Anyone (or the creators) want to share that setup that would get me as close to this as possible? Hiring a coder, server guy/gal, etc is not an issue. Jumping up servers (currently on a small dedicated) is not an issue. I have lightspeed on my current server if that makes any difference.

Comments split in a PRO and a CON column

Hi,

After a post we want the user to be able to post a comment either as pro or con. The arguments run down in 2 columns. The column on the left is all arguments PRO the column on the right is CON. How can we achieve this?
