Hope This Is The Right Place To Post A Support Topic.  Can't Find How To Do It In Support Forum.  Anyway..... Not receiving email notification of a response to discussion. Please advise. Thanks. (we are receiving email for confirmation) Please advise.

Hi tsgolden, Please leave some URL to allow us test it. Thanks gVectors Team. You can test it at: http://www.hardwaretools.com/aleko-wg450a-450-watt-residential-wind-turbine-generator-24-volt/

Hi tsgolden,

Could you please leave a screenshot of Dashboard > Settings > Discussions admin page. As well as WooDiscuz Settings page. We need to see your local configuration.

Any progress?  Are you guys using the default wp_mail function to send mail to reply to a discussion?  Why does a user receive confirmation but not follow-up reply email?  Is this because of the wp_mail function or something else?  A little help would be greatly appreciated.

Ok, options are correct, we make some test and didn't find any point to debug the real problem, we need admin access to make small changes in plugin files using Dashboard Plugin Editor to find and solve this problem. Having comment form on front-end is not enough to debug email sending issues, that's just impossible. So if you can provide admin access please send to support[at]gvectors.com email address.

Edit

I cleared 1. cache of plugin and cdn(shut it off for testing). 2. Created new discussion 3. Received confirmation and approved 4. Posted a response as admin in comments section (did not receive reply). 5. logged out of admin. 6. posted as guest 7. Received second reply.

Getting there. I'm able to receive reply emails from front-end, but do not receive relies from admin in comment section.

Thanks again for your help. Great job on this plugin. Love it!

Edit

I'm also able to receive replies from admin if admin posts in the front end;however, from the admin panel, in the comments section, if a reply is made; it is not received.

Yes, that's correct. You'll not get email notification if you reply yourself.

No, this is incorrect. I am not responding to myself. I am responding to a 3rd part user for testing purposes.

Within the admin panel, in the comment section, if i reply as admin nobody receives a reply email.
